Ouarzazate Solar Power Station (OSPS), also referred to as Noor 1 CSP, is a concentrated solar power (CSP) plant located in the Souss-Massa-Drâa area in Morocco, 10 km from Ouarzazate town, in Ghessat rural council area. The plant is the first phase of the Noor Solar Project. Noor 1 CSP is planned to produce 125 to 160 megawatt peak (MWp).〔(Morocco: Works on World’s Largest Solar Plant Financed by AfDB Go Underway ). African Development Bank. Retrieved 27 October 2015.〕 It covers an area of . The entire Noor Solar Project is planned to produce 580 MW at peak when finished. The plant will be able to store solar energy in the form of heated molten salt, allowing for production of electricity into the night. ''Noor 1'' comes with a full-load molten salt storage capacity of 3 hours. The planned Noor 2 and 3 plants, due to open in 2017 will store energy for up to 8 hours.〔 The project is developed with help of the Spanish consortium TSK-Acciona-Sener and is the first in a series of several planned developments at the Noor 1 Solar Complex by the Moroccan Agency for Solar Energy (MASEN). The plant is scheduled to become commercially operational in the second half of 2015. == See also == *List of solar thermal power stations *Solar thermal energy 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Ouarzazate solar power station」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
